Useful video outlines steps for do-it-yourself CBT

I've added another video to those featured in this prior post concerning CBT. I'll embed it below as well. It keeps things simple, and might be especially useful to those intimidated by the idea of trying CBT as a self-therapy.

In my view the core of the sequence described is in steps 5-8. I especially like step 6: identifying the pieces of evidence you're using to support your problematic/irrational thoughts. Some outlines of CBT sort of skip this step and jump straight to countering the irrational thoughts. But countering those pieces of evidence themselves seems to me to add a valuable level of precision. Enjoy!
